Reedsburg, WI – December 11, 2007 – Pace Industries Inc., a leading plastic extrusion specialist in the graphic arts industry, and an EPA recognized GREEN POWER PARTNER introduces BIOGRAPH.ics™ as another material option to support  Pace’s  corporate  mission to preserve the environment.

                 BIOGRAPH.ics™ is an exclusive custom sheet and roll product that starts with a unique agricultural (non-petroleum) based polymer, extruded by Pace, utilizing renewable energy.  Printers have found BIOGRAPH.ics™ to outperform other agri-based plastics with higher heat resistance and greater impact strength.  Furthermore, BIOGRAPH.ics™ demonstrates superior ink receptivity than petroleum based products for dynamite graphic creations.  BIOGRAPH.ics™ is certified through an independent laboratory as compostable per ASTM  D 6400-04.  This means that it will biodegrade (return to its basic organic elements).  Additionally, Pace is in the process of independent verification of printed, finished sheet product.

                 Pace’s ABSOLVE family of products got their start with polystyrene and has since grown to include the POLYGRAPH.ics™ line (polyethylene and polypropylene). These engineered materials look, feel and process like standard polyethylene, polypropylene and polystyrene but incorporate state-of-art polymer technology to facilitate degradation in litter form, commercial or residential compost as well as in landfill disposal.

                 Customer Recycling Programs continue to offer customers the opportunity to return packaging materials as well as plastic scrap.  In order to encourage recycling an inflated value is offered for these materials.
